Hi Shahin,
Mayo Clinic has some information available online for Shingles:

http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/shingles/DS00098

Mayo Clinic recommends taking a cool bath or using cool, wet compresses on your blisters, may help relieve the itching and pain.

If you are interested in requesting an appointment to see a Mayo Clinic physician in FL, AZ or MN - please click on the "request an appointment" link on the upper right hand corner of your screen.
Thanks,
Soledad

Good Afternoon Sharin,
I would like to offer you more information than what I have already share with your from our webpage. Also I cannot comment on medications either since I am not licenced in the medical field. I think it will be best for you to make an appointment and see one of our specialized physicians. If you are interested in requesting an appointment to see a Mayo Clinic physician in FL, AZ or MN - please click on the "request an appointment" link on the upper right hand corner of your screen.
Thank you for you reply,
Soledad

@shahin

Are you currently taking any vitamin D supplements? This time of year, it's too cold to sunbathe throughout most of the planet, but supplementation is always a viable option.

If you're wondering why I'm suggesting vitamin D supplements, you may want to take a look at the following threat here on MC Connnect: https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussions/2986-shingles-during-pregnancy-and-after-is-there-hope-for-me
