Sense of Smell and Taste (menopause)

Have anyone have lost their sense of smell and taste. Is there a certain age these things can happen. I am age 56 and I have no taste to my food. My tongue has turn purple. I am reading of this happening.

I’m not familiar with purple tongue. I developed smell and taste disorder after covid. I’d consult with a doctor.
