Second opinions from Mayo Clinic
Last year a targeted biopsy showed 3+4=7 cancer in less then 5% in one core. My urologist wanted to operate. I went to a radiologist he told me it was barley a 7 it could be watched or he could do 5 sessions of radiation. So I went to a 3rd Doc to get a consensus and he wanted to put me on Casodex. I decided to watch it. I got a second opinion of the biopsy at John Hopkins they reduced it to 3+3=6. My second biopsy came up negative. I live 5 hours from Mayo clinic in Minn. Because I could not get 3 doctors to agree on what to do would it be a good idea to drive up to Mayo top get a second opinion on watchful waiting?
