Good results. I started in Aug 2024 and it did help me. It took about 3 weeks to kick in. I used to have to use my rescue inhaler almost daily and no longer do.

After being on Breztri for nearly 2 years, doctor wanted me to try Ohtuvare. I am in the 5th week and no positive changes, In fact, I seem to be using my rescue inhaler more due to more shortness of breath occurrences. Also feelings of stress, probably due to breathing issues. I was doing better with just Breztri. I stopped Ohtuvare and advised doc, so see what happens. So far doing better today.
Prior to all this, I was on Advair for several years followed by Trelegy.
Breztri is best for me. and since I'm nearly 90, I am looking for quality and comfort!

I truly hope it works for some people; it hasn't for me!!

I am on so many meds I can't tell for sure if Ohtuvayre is working or not! I think it might be.
I'm on Trelegy, Albuterol,. Otuvayre, 500 mg azithromycin on Mondays, wednesdays and Fridays only. The one med that I'm sure about, that I notice the difference, is Prednisone.
I begged and pleaded for it because every time I went off it my lungs got tight and easily out of breath.
Also pulmanary rehab helped me in the beginning. I just "graduated"
Now to try to keep exercising on my own!

Couple years ago I was just on breztri then I started having issues so the doctor put me on Ohtuvayre , that was a miracle drug for me helped me a lot, couple years later I needed something else so now I take nucala once a month which is working and I still am on breztri and Ohtuvayre and so far I’m good, I’m able to move around pretty good. We all know medications work differently for everyone

@beflat10r with Ohtuvayre I don’t notice a lot of relief but I don’t get the bad exacerbations like I used to. So it does do something

@tjphillipp I've been using Ohtuvayre for approximately thirteen weeks. I hoped that this new medicine would make a difference, unfortunately it has not! my breathing issues, shortness of breath has become just about unbearable.

@tjphillipp I do breathing exercises multiple times a day on my own, and I also use Breztri. I walk my dog everyday as best I can and even attempt doing some yard work! Icannot give up or it will definitely be the end of me.
Thank you for your response

@osco1 I have emphysema and I might try the Zephyr valves. I’ve read they work
