Mayo Clinic researchers place ALS hope in stem cells

Researchers at Mayo Clinic are conducting a study in hopes of slowing the progression of ALS. The clinical trial is aimed at determining if it's safe for ALS patients to receive injections of stem cells grown from their own fat tissue samples.
