Bariatric Surgery Tied to Drop in Uterine Cancer Risk

Researchers are adding to the growing amount of data that shows obesity increases a woman's risk for cancer. A new study reports obese women who maintained weight loss after bariatric surgery had a 71% lower risk of developing uterine cancer than obese women who didn't have bariatric surgery.
