Rectal Crohn's

Posted by @bid855 in Digestive Health, Dec 24, 2011

I've had Crohn's and had a resection since 1990. Recently started experiencing constipation and found my rectum had scar tissue and had to be opened up and I have a transvaginal fistula. My Gastro Dr. insists I need to go on Humira. I do not feel bad. No fever, no vomiting, I am active and feel pretty good and don't want to take the humira since it won't stop the constipation. This is weird because I've had diahrea since I had the surgery in 1990 and this recently started happening. Seems to me that we should be finding out why the sudden change in bowel habits. Also started experiencing vertigo all of a sudden. Is this related? I am leaning toward rejecting the Humira option. I am going to go see a nutritionist/acupuncturist to get their take on the issue.
