I am new to the discussions here. I am very concerned with all of the meds I take and the combined risks. I have recently had skin changes which I believe are due to meds. Three doctors, and no answers yet. I take
Cimzia subQ
Vit D
Tramadol as needed
Any insight is appreciated!

You need to make sure you are getting all your meds from the same pharmacist. Discuss this with that pharmacist. They are the only ones who truly understand the ins and outs of drugs.

I agree, Talk to your pharmacist..sometimes the interaction of drugs you take actually cause another manifestation. Then the doc gives you something for that. Do go to the same Pharmacist if its possible. So many meds can give you side affects on their own. Those are a lot of drugs your taking. Some might counteract another also. My husband is a pharmacist.

I have the first three..RA, FIbromyalgia and on the border for Hypertension. I have found that Ibuprophen helps inflammation but on my own have found that soy products in food ike Soy Lecithin REALLY makes my fingers and feet ache really bad. The 'Casine' in dairy products seems to upset my stomach and bloat me if I'm eating high fat dairy like ice cream, whipped cream, half and half. Once in a while it doesn't do anything especially if I've stayed away from it for a couple weeks at least. My husband just had a heart attack and I'm making sure he eats fruits and veggies and plenty of them..which we always did, but now I'm no longer using Crisco or veg sprays or lard or butter. Just Olive oil for most and when baking try substitutes like applesauce. Rice milk for milk, but that might upset your tummy too. But gluten in flour products REALLY affected my digestive track and made my Fibromyalgia flare up. Fruits and veggies especially certain ones will help keep the cholesterol from building up. He has stopped smoking too and that should help. We are both 60!
I only take an 800mg Ibuprophen when my joints throb and ache. The hot water /cold water dip ending in warm water helps while they are throbbing until the ibu kicks in. I also use an Ibuphren ointment and gloves on my fingers at night when they are hurting bad.

I forgot to add that I'm meditating again..that helps the hypertension. I have such a stress free life..I don't know why I have it.
