Psoriatic arthritis

Posted by @markwages in Bones, Joints & Muscles, Jul 28, 2011

I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis around two years ago. I have developed intense pain in my sacroiliac joint. It has become very difficult to walk. I am also experiencing pain in my knees and feet. My rheumatologist said this was a progression of the disorder. I have tried Embrel with no success. I am scheduled to start Remicade soon. Has anyone experienced similar pain in their sacroiliac joint?

I also have spina bifida occulta, and spondylosis and spondylisthesis. I am unsure whether the pain is a result of the psoriatic arthritis or one of the other problems with my vertebrae.
