Not that Bad anything below 4.0 is normal. I just got tested and my level was 7.1

Backdrop is correct that below 4.0 is considered normal, however, I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer with a 3.7PSA. The issue of concern is how fast did the value change. Mine changed from 2.3 to 3.7 in about 18 months and it was this rapid change that created suspicion with my urologist.

I am 47 and was diagnosed with prostate cancer in January of 2012. I am an unusual case, but I had cancer throughout my prostate with a Gleason score of 7. My last PSA before surgery was 1.7. Be careful and listen to your doctors advice.
