Posterior Lumbar Fusion (PLF) + pedicle screw fixation L1 to L4 + Hip

I had a very serious fall from 4 floors which resulted in multiple lumbar fractures. I underwent Posterior Lumbar Fusion (PLF) + pedicle screw fixation L1 to L4 (osteosynthesis L1-L4) about 7 months ago. Also total hip replacement on the right hip.
3 months post surgery even without formal rehab I started walking almost pain free with a walker and using a whelchair most of the time. then I had a setback by lifting something, three months later another setback lifting something else.
Now, 7 months post surgery, I walk 4 times a day with the walker for 5 to 10 mn each time. sharp pains now and then after the setback.
Anyone had a familiar story? I think mine is up there from what I read here and that I am lucky looks like.
