Podcast Recommendation

Posted by handsdown @handsdown, 6 days ago

I came upon three episodes of a podcast yesterday that I think would be helpful to patients and caregivers. A neurologist, Todd Levine MD, out of the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, is interviewed. The name of the podcast is "What I'd Tell My Family" and I listened to three excellent episodes on all types of dementia and diagnostic challenges, the newer blood tests and APOE4 education. I listened on Spotify but it is likely available elsewhere.

@handsdown That does sound like a good and informative podcast. Thank you for letting us know about it! I hope some of the members will try listening.

Thank you. Just pulled it up. I listen to a lot of podcasts as my husband watches the movies he likes. He doesn't realize I am not paying a bit of attention to the movie.

@jenniferkr Hilarious! Same here! When my husband is watch The Godfather, Shawshank Redemption, The Hangover, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Fast Times at Ridgemont High or any of the other movies he has watched too many times in our 40 year marriage ("There's nothing else on!"), I sit in the same room with my headphones on and listen to podcasts!

@handsdown And yes all the movies are old. He can follow them. The new movies he is not interested in but old movies he "recalls". I can recite the dialog they have played so many times. LOL
