POC Overheating

I assume Hubby's Rhythm Portable Oxygen Concentrator is overheating. It says it's "hot".
He has been using it all day and in the evenings when watching TV.
His previous Inogen did not do that. Should we try to get another Inogen or what?
He has major problems getting around when he tries to bring his regular large concentrator into the living room from his bedroom, with such a long tubing, because he has to use a rollator rolling walker. I also have trouble getting up to his recliner now with my wheelchair, for fear of ruining the tubing stretched across the floor. I need to get close because he's hard of hearing.

My concern is that the equipment is defective. Is it under warranty? Either way contact your O2 supplier and find out if this is still viable equipment.

If you are both having trouble with the tubing, you can always hang it on the wall above door frames or from the ceiling. Have a dedicated tubing run to his recliner that you can unplug at night and another for bedroom use. If he needs to use the bathroom or go to the kitchen, he can use the portable. I also recommend using a rubber bands or other means to hang it on the hooks so the tubing doesn’t bend. If may not be pretty but it works.
