Physical Mobility: Can't regain my ability to run post-TBI
I suffered TBI in 2012 when I was ran over by a car. I’ve had a shunt, valve and catheter installed when I had a brain seizure in 2016. In 2018 I had a large section of my skull replaced. I’m 90% recovered and am looking for the final 10%. My back and pelvis were broken when I was ran over. I was in a wheelchair for 3 years. ALL my mobility has returned with the exception of my ability to run. Several years ago I underwent acupuncture in an attempt to find another “ path” that my brain could use to signal my nerves in my legs. I understood the idea but alas it didn’t work. My search continues.

Welcome to Connect. Sounds that you are working for recovery perfectly. Does take more time and effort then most other injuries, so remember to never give up.
