peripheral neuopathy

At least that's what I think it is. I'm 82, but I am ready to give up with the pain in my feet and hands. No one seems to know what I should do. I cannot swallow pills, so have to have them crushed. Sleeping almost impossible. Drs. seem to be afraid to give you anything - ready for some info that will help.

I have peripheral neuropathy too. Physical therapy can help. My doctor cannot find the cause, but if your doctor can, treating the cause of peripheral neuropathy might be the cure. Make sure you follow up with Neurologist and get tested. Always try to move around as much as you can. Keep good blood circulation and don't stress your feet and hands. Massage can be very helpful too. Good luck.
