Pelvic Pains for over a year HELP!

Posted by Anonymous @anon96265037, Oct 6, 2012

Last year I have experienced severe pain in my uterus, right over my ovaries. I have lost weight, my appetite is goes up and down, every day I tend to feel more weak and fatigue. I’m so fatigue and weak it has affected my schooling. I’m only 17 years old and I’m a senior. Once I fainted because I could no longer hand the pain and I’ve been in the ER many times. I have taken blood tests, ultrasounds, and a pep smear but doctors seem to find nothing. It worsens every day. Now my pelvic area is very tender, whenever I carry heavy objects, make bow movements, or apply pressure the pain shoots through my body. I feel like my body is just giving up slowly and I’m not sure what else to do. Help please. I don’t know where to go for answers

Dear Precious16,
Please call Saint Jude’s Hospital in Memphis, TN as they never turn away a child…and I believe you are still under 18 years old and considered a child. Please do not give up! It is frightening to have something in your body causing you pain, problems and great fears. If you live near a major City, check on Google for Teaching Medical Schools/Hospitals/Universities and see if your parents or someone you trust can drive you to one for a consultation or if you are in great pain their ER Room. Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is a wonderful Hospital and they have other Mayo Hospitals in FL and AZ..but I think you need to have medical health insurance to be seen there…but you never know they may have exceptions for children under 18 years old. Keep fighting for yourself!! Also call any Children’s Hospitals near you too. You will be in my prayers. I am hoping you will find out the answers you need to be treated, cured and back to having normal health. God bless you.

Did you get nerve conduction test or CT scan of your spinal cord?

LISTEN TO YOUR BODY! I had sever pain at 27 and five laparosopies and one biopsy later, found cervical cancer. I had a hysterectomy at 28. Don’t wait! It’s scary not knowing but the sooner you get to a doctor, the sooner they can diagnose and put your mind at ease. It could be something very minor!! GO NOW!! School, work, etc. is NOT more important than your health!
