Pain and numbness in both legs and feet

Posted by cjfutrell @cjfutrell, Jun 14 6:41pm

Lately I have had pain on the back of my thighs, and calves, and behind the knee where it bends. I have trouble walking any amount of distance and also have trouble sleeping. It usually gets a little better when sitting but doesn’t go away completely. I also have been getting all day long headaches, dizzy spells, trouble concentrating, and coordination problems. I have been sedentary lately due to health reasons and I’m not sure how much of all of that is attributed to it.

Have you seen neurology?
Sounds like you could benefit from a MRI and a EMG
Electromyography (EMG) measures muscle response or electrical activity in response to a nerve's stimulation of the muscle. The test is used to help detect neuromuscular abnormalities. During the test, one or more small needles (also called electrodes) are inserted through the skin into the muscle.
Best of luck to you. I too have numbness issues, is very frustrating . Stay strong 🙏🏻

@cjfutrell, you also mention a hematoma in the other discussion you started here:
– Hematoma years later? https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/hematoma-years-later/

I know you're planning to see a doctor in the next day or two. I suggest making a list of the symptoms you've mentioned here and the hematoma.
