Welcome to Connect @mrschew. Horrible to see our children in pain. I would definitely call 911. Chest pain and unable to walk is nothing to try to fix yourself. 🙁
If she has had this for a long time, has she been evaluated by her primary care doctor?
Yes this has happened before and she going to hospital first thing in morning.ser i live in kansas and shes in louisiana.and she has no help there
I’m so sorry to hear of your daughter’s problems @mrschew, How frightening that must be for her (and you). I wish her well. Please keep in touch with Mayo Connect. We care! Teresa
I am so sorry that your daughter is in pain. Chances are that she is experiencing costochondritis. http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/costochondritis/basics/definition/con-20024454
I have had this and it is horribly painful — it DOES subside in time, but you may need to contact your physician for some pain management assistance.
If U can, try and get a family member or if U can go and stay with UR daughter. Being alone is very frightening for her, especially in the dark hours of the night. I know, I am alone, and it is almost unbearable at times. She needs someone with her to help her think of other things and not the pain. To comfort her and assure her .. that is very important to pain management. Please tell UR daughter she ls in my heart and if I could I would bear her pain. I am asking Jesus to save this precious young woman and restore her to good health. Toni in Toronto ..
Thank you for that but.i have tried to get her to move to kansas were iam.
@mrschew I see she was going to the hosp. Do you mind sharing her diagnosis?
I have 3 young children and I have and am very sick. They have had a hard time with it. But i have taught them with the help of our youth paster, that God is always with them. When they are alone, dark and afraid, lean on God. He will always be there. I have truly seen a complete transformation with them. They use to cry and cry and be so sad when I am in the hospital or up at mayo clinic for weeks at a time but now no crying, no complete sadness that they can not function. They tell quite often, “Thank you mom for helping me see that I am never alone. I am really ok” I am sure they are sad but it no longer controls them. They control it.
I to had Costochondritis. Every breath I took it was like someone stabbing me in the chest. I got to the point where I would breath very shallow. I had pnumonia all the time. They finally removed my sternal manubrium joint.
Prayers for quick releif for your daughtet and you.

They told her just a pulled muscle and sromach pain.but i think its something else because this has been going on for some time now.i told her to go to another doctor.
For sure, second opinions are always wise, since it is not improving.
One day she told me she was in so much pain that she could not hardly walk.
It is a terrible place to be for the both of you. Have you gone to Mayo clinic for an opinion?
I have this all the time matter of fact last weekend, the next day it is very sore. I have found that putting on something called 3 old goats it is like Ben Gay if she puts on when she first starts with pain it helps.Good Luck,Kay

I was moved by your up beat attitude in spite of all you are facing. You are giving your children a strong foundation to
survive life’s great challenges.
Good luck to you and your lovely family
Whenever a person has unexplained pain I think it is best to consult with their primary doctor. While others may have experienced similar pain, it
could be from a totally different cause.
Others may handle the question with answers that cause fear such as a serious disease, when it could be a pulled muscle.
Some people inspire confidence in good out comes and others not so much, so hope that helps even if I don’t have an answer.
Wish I had a dime for all the odd ball pains I have had! (Smile)
Good luck and positive vibes all works out well!
