Can the casein in milk products ACTUALLY cause calcium deficiencies despite the amount of calcium in milk itself? I just heard that casein "leeches" the calcium out of our bones and causes osteoporosis....since when....?

I'm not sure, but you need to be taking your calcium with vitamin D and magnesium in order for it to absorb properly.
