Oral B toothbrush heads

Couldn’t find this when I did a search of the forum, but do the Oral B electric toothbrush heads hold up in a baby bottle sterilizer? Thanks!

Mine did not. I soak weekly in 70% isopropyl alcohol (when ill) or fresh 3% hydrogen peroxide otherwise. This was recommended by my dentist who knows about my bronchiectasis and history of MAC.

I sterilize my Oral B toothbrush heads in a Bololo baby bottle sterilizer after every use. Eventually (after months of sterilization) a clump of bristles fall out and I throw that one away. That may be due to frequent sterilization but by the time the bristles fall out, it's probably time to change the toothbrush head anyway. I have 3 that I rotate.

I am a retired Dental Hygienist.
The normal life of a toothbrush is 3 months, MAX.
So if you are sterilizing yours regularly I can see how the bristles would be affected.
You could buy a UV sterilizer for your toothbrush which might be easier, just google it.
