Help with Posting

Posted by sundance6 @sundance6, Sat, Jun 1 9:33am

Hi, I need some operational help with posting. I was raised in Catholic School and we had Caticismn instead of spelling, can you see! Anyway I have Spell check on my regular Outlook Express. Does anyone know how to set it up on this site! Really gets embarassing!
Thanks,
Sundance

My Cell phone did that to me when I first got it. Took it in and said Stop it! They did. My laptop just underlines misspelled or incorrect Grammer.
I'll keep trying.
Have aGreat weekend!
Thanks,

@sundance6 get grammarly. It checks spelling and more. I don’t always agree with suggestions it makes so I often disregard them, but it is good for spelling.

I didn’t go to a Catholic grade school, but I’m astounded that they were allowed to not include spelling in the regular English classes!

Yes, Grammarly is good. Like @contentandwell said, I don't always agree with their suggestions, but more often than not they provide better wording and punctuation. It really isn't an app, but is something you can sign up with for free. They also have monthly options which provide more sophisticated checks but there is a monthly charge for those.

@sundance6 It's not really an app, it goes with Chrome. Here's the website. https://www.grammarly.com/

I do not have a paid version either.

@jakedduck1 I only use it on my desktop but I know it is available for iPads so I presume it works on smart phones too.

It can be a real nag at times.
