Offering help and support to caregivers: NYT article

Posted by Scott, Volunteer Mentor @IndianaScott, Dec 1, 2016

I came across this article from the New York Times today. You can read it at this link: http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/28/well/live/what-not-to-say-to-a-cancer-patient.html?mtrref=undefined&_r=0

Based on my experiences as the primary caregiver for my wife, I find much to applaud in this. Especially the difference between an offer of action and an offer of false hope, which is placing another burden on the caregiver.

In my view, it is worth the time to read.

Strength and courage to all caregivers and their patients
