May want to consult w a dentist or your doctor. You can even have physical therapy to help with TMJ pain or injections that help. I know it sounds crazy to recommend a dentist when you don't have your own teeth but they might be able to help.

TMJ is a problem with your JAW JOINT not teeth. But if teeth are not aligned it can affect the jaw.

I have had it off and on for 55 years. (A car accident) in fact, I am having trouble now. I bit into a granola bar that was too hard to chew.

I need to stay away from food that requires a lot of chewing like nuts, caramel, steak…
A heating pad will help, and Advil reduces the pain and inflammation.

it can be if you grind or clench your teeth in your sleep in stress times like I do. puts pressure on the jaw.

Put two pounds of rice in a long sock and tie it off at the top. Heat in microwave two minutes. Apply to jaws, either around back of neck or under jaws 20 min at a time. Or use water bottle. Must be moist heat to relax jaws. Also if you feel safe using Benadryl, one at bedtime can prevent morning TMJ headache.
