No sleep for 2 months!

Posted by dennismm @dennismm, Jan 31 7:10pm

I am a total mess and totally out of it! My Apple days. I sleep 1 3/4 hours or 2.3 hours every night FOR 2 MONTHS!
I literally can’t even walk around and DRS. Said no driving.
Saw 4 Drs 4 different meds, and new one Zalpolon does nothing:
Zalpalon
Valium 2mg
Doxepin 5mg
Temazapam

Haven’t slept for than 2 hours every night got almost 2 months and I’m “totally out of it!”
Saw
Psychiatrist
Neurologist
Pulmonologist

This has now become very serious as I can no
Longer function on 1-2 hours every night at least that’s what Apple Watch says!!

@dennismm: Sleep deprivation does not make for productive, pleasant days… or nights! Sleep was illusive for me until I tried this: I have had a good response taking 240mg Magnesium Glycinate at bedtime. Please check with your doc before you try this sleep solution (contraindications could exist from meds or your current blood lab values). It has helped me get a restful sleep without any foggy mornings. Best health to you.

My doctor has me on Lorazepam, which I’m trying to taper off. He suggested Tylenol pm (which basically is Benadryl) which has let me sleep for 5 hours.
1.5mg melatonin helps me get to sleep. Then .5mg lorazepam, and then Tylenol pm. This is not a long-term solution, but is helpful right now (only 3 nights so far). Also, I’m going to try OLLY Sleep with melatonin, L-theanine and herbs. Good luck!
PS i’ve tried CBD gummies and it helps a little bit

Hi I have recently started to have slew issues due to health anxiety - heart and more recently a lump on my sternoclavicular bone which I fear is going to press on my throat at night. I felt I was going crazy and was told it was anxiety. Bit also been put on blood thinners which may add to problems.
I have recently returned to an old acupuncture contact and following one session felt a little relaxed and she has put some pins in my ears for a week to help calm my system. O have also used Bach rescue remedy during the night and this helps relax the nervous system too so I fall back to sleep.
Worth a try? There’s nothing worse than not sleeping. Hope you can get some rest
