New Episode Flareup

Hi all, I dropped out of this group bc I have not had an episode in several months, until today. Woke up with pain in big toe joint, cycling every 8-15 secs causing my legs to twitch. It has continued all day but not as severe, maybe because I have other disruptions. Why would that occur all of a sudden? My A1C is 6.1, TIA
