Hi @tgregg99, I have not tried Neem but I've tried a lot of different essential oils, salves, creams, lotions and other topicals and have had zero help with the numbness associated with my idiopathic small fiber PN. Where did you hear or read about Neem and it's use for neuropathy?

Thanks for your reply and for the link, I'll check it out.
My pharmacist, who is from India and works in the U.S., suggested I give it a try. It's the first time I heard of Neem. She knows others with my PN issues who have used it, but I don't know their outcomes. But I can see from your link and from other research online there's alot of info on it. I need to be confident it's safe for me to try, so I'll ask my neurologist for her thoughts and go from there.
I've visited a neem grower/producer in the Abacos and was given a bottle of the best he had, cold-pressed and organic, and I've shared it with friends. None of us found that it did anything for sprains, small wounds or anything. I think it's not as caustic as tea tree oil but it's not the anti-inflammatory that emu oil is or the anti-bacterial that topical castor oil is either. It might be that the trees grown for it in India are a different strain as botanicals can be very plant-specific.
