Hi, Cat. Sorry to hear about your diagnosis, and that you’re already approaching leukemia! 🙁 I was diagnosed in June 2010 (classified as mild) but I believe I’ve head this disease for years and gone un-diagnosed. My symptoms have worsened, so I’m heading to IU hopefully for some answers, or better treatment. So far I’m not even on meds except for Bvitamins (I’m deficient) and now iron for the new anemia. God bless you as you continue your treatment.
Unfortunately my wife of 54 years died last month. In a short time span, sehe had all kind of physical problems leading to dropping the 4th
Vidaza cycle and going into hospice. I am crushed. I am not satisfied with the answers I have received so I will seek advice from Mayo. She had a worst case MSD on top of a previous liver transfplant. I hope you have better luck.
I’m so sorry to hear of your wife’s passing. This disease seems to be very misunderstood, misdiagnosed, and mistreated. I hope you can find some healing. 54 years is a very long time to have someone. What a blessing.
my husband has just been diagnosed with mds and is now getting chemo and transfusions of blood and platelets at Anderson Banner treatment center has anyone had any treatments there?
