My stomach is so tender I can’t stand to wear anything around it.. It hurts if I walk to hard, driving down a rough road, I have sharp pains under right breast and on right side of stomach.. it makes me feel sick to stomach when something pushes on it.. feels like something under rib cage is turning and twisting ..in a lot of pain … any ideas?
@acid2come – when did you last see your doctor? I think you should make an appointment to be seen soon. You sound much too uncomfortable walking around like this. Can you get back to me about your evaluation?
Have you an Appendix? Get a blood test soon .. ER? Urgent care?

Hi, I go to Gastroenterologist January 6th for a manometry/Esophagus motility study and 24 hr ph impedance test..then I go back 8th for EGD with biopsy..Yes I will let you know the results..I appreciate your time..
I’m nervous about going!! I’m afraid the test will not show anything.. and he’s going to say I’m going to have to learn how to live with it…
@acid2come – That’s great news that you have all those tests scheduled! Make sure to ask about the pain you have on the right side on pressure and going on a bumpy road!!
Don’t worry about them not finding anything – one day at a time. We also don’t accept to be told to live with it! Good luck!

Hi,this doesn’t mean a lot to me yet…but this is what doctors notes say EGD with biopsy’s..
The z-line is irregular and was found 39 cm from the incisors..biopsy were taken..A 1 cm hiatal hernia was present…Clear fluid was found in the gastric fungus and in the gastric body..suctioned..diffuse moderately erythematous mucosa without bleeding was found in the entire examined stomach…biopsy were taken …the cardia and gastric fundus was normal.. the examined duodenum was normal
Doesn’t mean a lot to me
Can anyone tell me what any of this means??
If anything…or am I still stuck not knowing what is going on with me??
The doctor prescribed the same medication that I’ve been on for about 10yrs..
If it was working I wouldn’t be in this kind of pain or the esophagus wouldn’t be inflamed..
So I don’t think I’ve got the right answer to my problem..
But he did say something about doing a emptying test.
Plus I have IBS… it controls my life for the most part… any suggestions? Or ideas?
Hello, I told you all the test I had done and the report that I’ve got so far…all the doctor has said so far is to keep taking the same acid medication that I’ve been taking for 12yrs..
Question: if that medicine was working why am I hvin so much trouble? Any ideas?on what I need to do?
I’m having trouble breathing (asthma)? But the asthma medicine doesn’t help my breathing..it makes the acid worse..I’m so lost!!!everything I read sounds like that’s the answer to what I have but it doesn’t give me the answer to a solution… maybe it’s (eosinophils asthma)🤷♀️
If you treat one it makes the other one act up..
Like I said I’m lost… I can’t seem to get the doctors on the same page… working together..
In the mean time life is passing me by..
I’ve been this way since August not enough air to walk across the room,no energy, muscle spams, fatigue, dry cough.. hard to swallow, acid bad taste, feels like I have something stuck in my throat…but when I go to doctor my oxygen level is good so they don’t take me serious…
Any suggestions?? Or ideas?
I would truly appreciate it
@acid2come – I assume it was the gastroenterologist who did all this testing and advised you to keep taking the same medicine? Do you have an internist or family doctor who you see for everything else? If so, that doctor should also be able to interpret the limited advise you got. Second- there also has to be a reason why you have difficulty breathing. Could very well be asthma- possibly worse if you have acid reflux. Your oxygen could be normal and you still can have difficulty breathing.
I have been followed by a pulmonologist for years- on and off bad asthma. They perform pulmonary function tests whenever I visit.
It is helpful to have one “ doctor home” so to say- they can help coordinate your care too.
Please have your breathing evaluated!

@acid2come – Did you have an ultrasound of your abdomen? Gallbladder problem?
