My cousin has cancer in both kidneys and has 3 blood clots in lungs.

My cousin has cancer in both the kidneys and he got 3 blood clots in his lungs and one of them got moved to the heart which caused high blood pressure and also, his heart stopped pumping twice). As of now (April 16, 2022) the situation is very critical. He is currently in an ICU and doctors have been keeping him unconsious since 9th of April, 2022. What could we expect? About recovery.

I wanted to let you know that I have also added your post to the Cancer group in order to share with more members outside of the Kidney Group.

Do you know if he went into AFib or what caused his heart to stop twice? I want to be sure I bring in the right members given the situation to see what experiences they can share with you.

As of now doctors are not willing to share any information regarding the situation on call. (We are in india whereas my cousin lives in Montreal, Canada). We are informed that my cousin's heart stopped pumping twice because of the blood clots in his lungs, cancer in his both kidney and also his brain isn't working properly. That's all we know so far. We want to save him and we are willing to do whatever we can… Thanks again.

As of now doctors are not willing to share any information regarding the situation on call. (We are in india whereas my cousin lives in Montreal, Canada). I can understand your concern and also your frustration in not being able to get more information about your cousin's medical problems. Does your cousin have any family members in Montreal who can be in contact with his doctors in order to get more information?

Doctors weren't willing to share any information regarding his health apart from their direct blood relations. So, we were waiting for the visa process to be done. Now that we have got the visa, his parents have reached Canada. Also, I want to know how long it will take him to get up?
