My Aunt was diagnosed in the spring with a tumor on her

My Aunt was diagnosed in the spring with a tumor on her kidney, her first doctor wanted to surgicly remove it, she sought a second opinion and which she went with was to shrink the tumor first with medication due to its size and proximity to the main artery, after which he would surgically remove it. As her surgery date is approaching they checked her condition and have now found it is spreading to her liver. They are now saying they want to try a new medicine to stop the spreading and then go up through the artery and block the flow of blood to kill it and forgo surgury to remove it. After reading the various treatments Mayo uses I questioned her as to if her doctors have ever suggested frezzing or heat as an alternative and she replied it was never discussed as an option. I'm getting the feeling she may not be in the best hands. She is now in alot of abdominal and back pain, Can anybody offer feedback
