Morton's Neuroma

Posted by @vickie68102 in Just Want to Talk, Mar 10, 2012

I’ve been diagnosed with neuromas in both feet. The right is much worse than the left and it has begun to affect my legs and back. I was told surgery might be my only option. I am afraid of the resulting numbness, and wondering about the recovery time. I am on my feet all day. Does anyone have any experience or advice on this condition? Non-surgical treatments do not seem to work.

Yes, I had Morton's Neuroma on my right foot and had surgery to remove it. There is very little numbness and I am so glad I had the surgery, because I could hardly walk before the surgery due to severe pain. Now I am pain free. My older sister had it also on both feet. Wonder if it's hereditary?
