Morton's Neuroma

Posted by @vickie68102, Mar 10, 2012

I’ve been diagnosed with neuromas in both feet. The right is much worse than the left and it has begun to affect my legs and back. I was told surgery might be my only option. I am afraid of the resulting numbness, and wondering about the recovery time. I am on my feet all day. Does anyone have any experience or advice on this condition? Non-surgical treatments do not seem to work.

Yes, I had Morton’s Neuroma on my right foot and had surgery to remove it. There is very little numbness and I am so glad I had the surgery, because I could hardly walk before the surgery due to severe pain. Now I am pain free. My older sister had it also on both feet. Wonder if it’s hereditary?
