Memory issues due to Glioblastoma cancer
Is anyone dealing with this issue on a daily basis? My husband has GBM and continues to have issues with remembering where things are located at home. Now he cannot remember where we are going in the car.
He wants me to quickly think of something that he cannot and it’s very frustrating for him and somewhat frustrating for me too.

Following my husband's surgery from grade 4 GBM, he could not remember how to even use the TV remote.
We wished he had never had the surgery since he was never the same afterwards. Please try to be patient and I wish you all the best. Prayers.

3 ReactionsMy husband had surgery to remove his tumor on March 3, 2026. He has since struggled with remembering peoples names, including close family members and friends. He can tell you details about them but can’t remember the name. He also repeats the same stories and statements. The names are frustrating for him, the repeating of stories and such is frustrating for me.

My husband had surgery of his brain tumor 5/19/2025. He also cannot remember friends names and some family names too. He is often frustrated by this. I’m very patient and just keep trying to keep him busy and happy with most things. My husband does like to eat out. Make time to get out of the house. Take care of yourself as it’s a long road. Rened
