As we approach this holiday weekend called Memorial Day, I wanted to take a moment to connect with all of our members who have posted in our Mental Health discussions at one time or the other. Memorial Day weekend is a time when we celebrate the beginning of summer, but more importantly we honor those who have given their life (and perhaps their health) in order to defend our freedom. I want to thank those of you who have served our country. I know that many of you face disabilities and hardships as a result of your service and my heart goes out to you for your courage and the personal battles that you continue to wage on home soil.
At this time, many of us also remember those who have passed from our life through death. If you are in a place of mourning or grief, I would like you to feel free to share your feelings with our community this weekend. We are here for you! Teresa
