MAYO email announcements

This is a respectful request that in the daily messages, less space be devoted to a long list of carillon concerts (which most readers cannot go to) and more be given to medical info or health questions submitted by readers. Thank you.

@merpreb Thanks! I have wondered what the purpose of these announcements is. It seems like a recent change in the daily notices.

Hi @jshdma, thank you for your note. I agree with you that the onsite event announcements in the daily digest email are poorly placed. While changing this seems like a simple task, it is not. a request to review and revise the presentation was submitted and is currently being worked on. You should see a change within a few weeks.

Once the events listings are streamlined, you will be able to see the virtual events, such as Video Q&As that are viewable anywhere and archived for later viewing. See a complete listing here: https://connect.mayoclinic.org/webinars/

Furthermore, you will see the daily highlights of topical discussions and questions submitted by members and blog post written by Mayo Clinic experts.

@colleenyoung TI might add that the listing of numerous carillon concerts seems to be a change from previous arrangement of info on daily announcements.

@jshdma, you're correct. It is the carillon concerts are a recent addition to the events, which alerted us to the technical anomaly/glitch and the need for a solid solution for all events.

@jshdma, you will notice that starting today, the event listings in your Daily Digest include only those events that are accessible online. To see all events, including local, in-person events held at Mayo Clinic campuses in Arizona, Florida and Minnesota, click "See Calendar – All Events"

@colleenyoung I did notice that the announcements were rearranged to feature medical info and inquiries, rather than listed carillon concerts. Thanks for acting on my suggestion.
