Hello @lfletcher91. This is a complicated question that doesn't have a clear answer in research. Some early studies show that outcomes of kidney recipients from donors who used cannabis showed no change in results of those who received kidneys from non-cannabis users: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6543962/.
As far as Mayo Clinic goes, it may be worth reaching out to the Kidney Transplant Program, https://www.mayoclinic.org/departments-centers/kidney-transplant/home/orc-20203197, for specific questions regarding donation/transplant.
