Hi I'm a Male 80 yrs old & I have been fighting Liver & Pancreatic since July 2024 I also have a pace maker to control my heart I have high blood presser
When I found out I had Cancer they started me off in Chemo for 6 months, then they stop the chemo and started me off on Immunotherapy for 6 months, they stopped that because the cancel came back in a different place
on my liver, now they have started me on another one called Folfox 6. My cancer in in the Blood and there is no cure for it, I am not in any pain from the Cancer at the moment because thee treatment is controlling it, My big question is at my age is it worth fighting this Cancer because the treatment on it own is killing me, because in the long run the Cancer is going to beat us all no matter what treatment they give me. Should I quit the treatment because I can't see any point it pushing on ?????

I have had Y90 treatment on Sept. 3 for metastatic lung cancer to the liver. Other than extreme fatigue, I have had no pain or adverse reactions. There are no CT scans scheduled at this point, so I am wondering what to expect in the near future,

Lets hope you get a good report for the CT scan, As for the future, well no one can tell you that, not even the doctors.
All I can say is for the last 5 months all the treatment I had has made my think has it been worth it, I'm so fatigue as well & I find it hard just to walk 25 meters without feeling like I'm going to fall over all the time.
