Lichen sclerosis on my skin, stomach area

A local dermatologist diagnosed me with lichen sclerosis on my stomach. Prescribed Mometasone Furoate cream to be used twice a day. Some members of my local medical team think it may be from a Covid vaccination but others disagree. What do I need to know?
