Kidney transplant recipients taking Camzyos?

Does anyone have experience taking Camzyos that was already a kidney transplant recipient? I have been recommended to start 5mg of Camzyos and have had a kidney transplant and am on cellcept and ProGraff.

@dluehrs, thanks for clarifying. I've added your post to both the Transplants and the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) support groups. I'm also tagging @jih123, who is both a kidney transplant recipient and someone who has experience with Camzyos (mavacamten) for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

Has your cardiologist coordinated with your transplant team? How long ago was your transplant?

Colleen, thanks so much for the help. My transplant was in 2008. My cardiologist team has called and coordinated with my transplant team. I feel like I am in good hands however I do feel like a bit of a trial or experiment as well. Currently my ProGraff level is high for me and we are trying to get that down. I would like it to be stable before I introduce a new medication that could alter how it works in me. My ProGraff level has been 8-9 and my goal is 4-6.
