KEVZARA refrigeration tips? Starting it tomorrow
If you have any tips on how you store your Kevzara in fridge and keep it at correct temp etc I'd appreciate hearing it. It's coming tomorrow 10/3 so I want to be ready. Thanks again to everyone for all your input. It's really helpful and much appreciated. Blesdings.

I’m out the box in plastic bag in the refrigerator vegetable drawer.
That’s all. Take it out 1 hour before injection.
I wipe the injection site with alcohol swab, fan it with pc of paper to dry it, pinch skin at site (not anymore’) and inject.

Got it!
Ditto. I put the plastic bag in a bottom shelf in the refrigerator. No special care after that.

2 ReactionsI've posted about this before, your refrigerators will swing in temperature more than you think. If you have it set to stay under 40 as recomended for safe storage of food, it can easily swing down below that 36 degree mark, and usually more than that, mine would go down to 30.. did it freeze, I dont know. The people that make it basically read from the brochure saying don't go under 36 and definatly don't freeze it. Would a repeating swing from 40 down to 33 or 34 hurt it ? I dont know and They just repeat don't go under 36.
I luckily had a small fridge I bought previously that will regulate between 38 and 44. I tried it all over my normal fridge monitoring the temperature, nowhere could I get it to stay within range while keeping the rest of the fridge in the food safe zone. I'm sure many many people keep it in thier normal fridge, maybe that's why it doesn't work as well for some. I'd get a good wireless thermometer and check it. Govee makes one that will monitor it constantly, create you a graph of the temp swings. For what this stuff costs....I'd be careful.

2 Reactions@tweetypie13 how are you measuring ? Every refrigerator runs in cycles. Compressor on , compressor off. I'd guarantee there is a temp cycle. How big of one is the question.

2 Reactions@ronludington I don’t measure…..there’s a big number at the top of the open door way showing the temp 37° and one for frozen food.
Whenever it varies, it will send off an alarm.
We have no family, door is opened for 2 people only.
The fridge was new when pandemic broke out in 2020
I live in AZ and like to think I am acutely aware of temps back when they used to send the drugs fedex overnight. As deliveries got longer the ice packs were a problem and I have had a shipment replaced with no questions asked.
