Just came down with a flu or covid?

I'm 77 with mild bronchiectasis and MAC. 2 days ago I started feeling classic symptoms of mild flu or covid? I already feel somewhat better and temp is down. I do have some very intermittent coughing. I will see a dr. today and get a covid and flu test. I guess my queston is:
Should I get a xray to see if some pneumonia might be there? I've had 2 in my past: one with very severe symptoms, the other with hardly any. I am continuing my airway clearance as best I can. Hard to do when you feel lousy in the 1st place!!

@conniec When I feel ill, I continue airway clearance, rest a lot and drink extra fluids. The doctor will be able to decide, based on listening, whether you need an x-ray. If you don't see your regular provider, be sure to tell them your history.

You might be able to save yourself some time by taking a readily available COVID, Flu A/B test. If those are negative you know you're dealing with an exacerbation, which might need treatment.
