I have a child age 13 just diagnosed with this April 2011. I would like to talk to you about your situation and treatments. What worked and didn't work. please contact me.

I have a 10 year old son who was diagnosed with this disorder in July 2011.

@fibrosufferer - Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) is a disorder that can lead to easy or excessive bruising and bleeding. The bleeding results from unusually low levels of platelets — the cells that help your blood clot.
