Information on fusiform aneurysm intracranial vertebral

Hi everyone, I’m new to the group. I was recently diagnosed with a 6mm fusiform aneurysm of my right vertebral artery in the back of my brain.

My specialist believes it may be from an old healed dissection and recommends watching it for now. I’ll have another MRA in a year to make sure it hasn’t changed.

Since this type of aneurysm seems pretty rare, I’m hoping to hear from others with something similar. Is anyone else doing the “watch and wait” approach, and has yours stayed stable over the years?

Also, has anyone with an aneurysm in this area needed surgery or a stent? I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience and recovery.
