I'm trying to find someone who may have been to a specific surgeon
I don't know how to go about this, but I would really like to find someone who had fusion surgery who also has osteoporosis with a certain surgeon in NYC or atleast anyone who had successful fusion who has osteoporosis with a surgeon in nyc.

You could try going onto Facebook if you have an account and asking the internet universe for help. This type of surgery on a patient with osteoporosis you need to be cautious. Since everyone is different, speaking with a past patient only gives you a very limited reference point. If you’re debilitated the success might be problematic. If you’re fit and relatively healthy you’ll have an improved chance of success But we all heal differently. I don’t believe a spine surgeon would operate on you if they didn’t feel the surgery would be successful or safe to perform.
