I’m on this forum to extol the virtues of being an anon Kidney donor. There are many people in my same situation that I was and don’t know about it. Being physically unable to work from the age of 30, I fell into depression due to doing nothing of meaning. Since I’ve donated, I have a very positive outlook on life, I had to quit smoking to donate, and that alone is a major bonus, and money saver. I hope I can help just one other person, they will be helping themselves and another person. Thank you.

Wow!! Congratulations to you, Gregory. I can’t believe that I missed this post! You are an inspiration in how you have taken full charge of your life and your health – and for a such a heroic purpose. Did you get to donate? How are you doing? I have a kidney (and a liver) from a deceased donor whom I cherish deeply. I would love to hear from you. Maybe someone will read it and be inspired to do like you and be open to the possibility of organ donation. Rosemary
