Even if you are very young and haven’t been officially diagnosed, the panic attacks, anxiety and overwhelming feelings you’re experiencing are still real and important, and the fact that your mum does not currently understand or agree does not mean you are making it up, because many young people struggle with anxiety before ever seeing a doctor, and you also do not need to be able to swallow pills to get help since treatment for anxiety and panic attacks often involves talking to a counselor, therapist, school nurse or trusted adult, learning calming and grounding techniques, and finding emotional support first, so if your mum will not take you to a doctor right now it may help to speak with a trusted teacher, school counselor, relative or another safe adult who can help you explain what’s happening and guide you toward proper support.

@justakid2014 Hello, it is very mature of you to recognize your emotions and name them. Your Mum may be one of the may people who feel awkward talking about emotions like anxiety and panic. Further, sometimes parents seem to feel that if anything is "wrong" with their children it reflects badly on them,

I encourage you to talk to a trusted adult at school - they see many students who are struggling with emotional issues as they grow, are trained to help you figure out what your next step(s) should be, and to keep it confidential. As for your concern about swallowing pills - sometimes talking things through is help enough, but if you do need medication, there are many ways to deliver it.

You would be surprised how many of your fellow students go through feelings like this while growing up, so even if you are quiet about it, you are not alone.
