I was wondering the same thing , like what is considered an excarebation exactly . Having an infection that makes you short of breath ?

@hobbity I think so.

The standard I believe is that if you need to take a steroid and antibiotics then that is considered a "flare up" or an exacerbation. But double check with your physician, if you saw him on how he coded the contact with you.
