Topiramate for migraines

I was thrown into a city bus window. Face . Head first. The driver tore off before bi was seated. Now I have migraines. That start about 4 am. Like a hot sharp knife going through the back side of my head. I also suffered a horrible horrible concussion.no open trauma. Just bruises. The topiramate was a god send. My neurologist tried several different things

So my PCP has started me on topiramate for migraines w rizatriptian as a back up. My problem is when they come on there is a bunch of pressure in the top of my spine and base of my skull I do not understand what is causing this. They haven't referred me to neurology yet. Some have said chiropractor will help but I see a chiropractor and almost feel like it has got worse since I've been seeing him. Any suggestions on relief in the meantime until they help me figure this out? Thank you in advance.
