I have PVC's as diagnosed by Holter monitor & EKG at the hospital. Echo results show LA chamber 4 area at 22 cm & LA chamber 2 area at 15 cm. Test result says Left Atrium enlargement, but the nurse said the echo was normal when she called. What is the upper limits for the area of the Atrium for a 40 year old woman? I haven't seen my doctor yet; I've only heard from the nurse by phone and read the report on the online chart system. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
