I have had my lumpectomy and re-excision of the area and am waiting to be told what my treatment plan is. At first, they told me I'd have Radiation, but now they say it's 50% chance. I just need to know because it means leaving my home for 6 weeks. Radiation is offered 225 miles from my home town, so it's a lot to prepare for. Plus, I'd like to celebrate Christmas at some point, so I need to work that out as well. The waiting is so hard. I know I seem to be whining, I'm just a person that likes to get on with stuff so I can get on with life and I'm really looking forward to living this one. Something about the diagnosis made me see things clearer and understand whats important and what matters most. Spending time with family and friends is most important.
