Has anyone experienced weight gain while taking teraparatide injections?

Most gain weight on teriparatide. And their doctors, mostly, tell them that it isn't the medication. With high calcium levels calcium enters fat cells, It can make them live longer, become bigger and encourages new fat cells.
It happens mostly around the waist because that is where most people already have more fat cells.

I have heard that the weight takes a while to lose after stopping teriparatide.
Weight gain wasn't signaled in the clinical trials. The mechanism is more apparent in literature on hyperparathyroidism, though never more apparent than with the experience. I don't know if there is remedy. I take K2-7 two hours before the injection and magnesium orotate at the same time, hoping to protect the blood vessels from penetration by fat cells.
